Overview
There are various situations during Sales that require a RecovR Locator to be added, removed, or replaced before the customer leaves with the vehicle. If these go uncorrected customers may be forced to reach out to RecovR Support to address them after the fact.
In order to help with this, we provide an alert that can be sent to both registered Recovr users as well as non-registered email and phone number contacts, to help proactively take action before the customer takes their vehicle home. This improves customer experience as well as reduces the number of support requests.
How to Enable
Pending Sale Alerts can be enabled on the Alert Rules page for any location. This page is linked on the left side navigation when viewing a location.
Alert Recipients
Unlike many of our alerts, this alert will not go to Location Admins, but rather to a list specified by the location on the Location Alerts Page.
You can specify a list of users to receive these alerts. Users are not required to have a RecovR account in order to receive these alerts.
Registered RecovR Users
Will receive the alerts according to the Notification Preferences
Non-Registered Users
Any valid phone number or email can be added, and will be sent alerts based on the designated method used when adding them.
