Reconciliation can be performed on Lost Locator Record that is currently Lost. This action will request the position of the associated Locator. If that Locator reports an Onsite position at their original Location or Sister Location, the Lost Record will be updated to a Found state. Additionally, a credit will be issued on the next invoice to be generated, if applicable.

This action can be run on many Lost Locators at the same time, and only the those currently Lost will be reconciled. Also, this action can only be taken once every 24 hours on each Locator. You can keep track the history and outcome of reconciliation requests on the Lost Locator Record page.

Once the position of the associated Locator is reported, if the Locator is:

Onsite - if that Locator reports a position at the given Location or Sister Location,

  • Lost Locator: The Lost Locator Record will be updated to a Found state

  • Billing: A Credit may be issued on the next invoice to be generated

  • Locator: The Locator is unhidden from the Locators page in Lot Management

Offsite - no changes, the Locator is still Lost.
