To sell a vehicle to a customer without a locator, the salesperson can create a Vehicle Only sale. This removes the vehicle from the dealer's inventory and negatively effects this location’s sell through rate.

Variations

Bulk Vehicle Only Sale

If multiple vehicles are selected they can be marked as sold in bulk. The salesperson listed in the field will be applied to all sold vehicles, but this field can be updated individually later.

Paired Vehicle(s)

If a locator is still paired with one or more of the selected vehicles the salesperson will get the following warning: N vehicles are still paired and will enter the Sale Pending state. Unpair and remove each of the Locators before the vehicles leave the lot.

For a single vehicle only sale, the install location of that locator will be displayed on this page.

Marking as Sold in the Unpairing Flow

If the vehicle is in the sale pending state it will automatically open the vehicle only sale page and auto-populate the salesperson to the salesperson who originally made the sale.

If the vehicle is not in a sale pending state, the salesperson can select Vehicle Only Sale as a reason for unpairing. The salesperson is auto-populated with the name of the user creating the sale.

What to do with tags paired to the vehicles' keys?

Car dealer personnel shall remove the tags from the keys or keyfobs before handing over the keys to the car owner.

Please note that tags delivered to a car owner and not part of a RecovR for Keys sales will be considered as lost devices.
