HomeNet - How to Navigate When the Feed is Active

This article will let dealers know how to navigate what actions have taken place on their feed automatically.

How Your HomeNet Feed Keeps Inventory in Sync

Once your HomeNet feed is Active, RecovR automatically keeps your inventory current based on what HomeNet sends over — no manual updates needed on your end.

Adding and updating vehicles

When HomeNet’s feed includes a new vehicle, RecovR adds it to your inventory. When it includes an update to a vehicle you already have, RecovR updates that record. You don’t need to add or edit these vehicles manually — the feed handles it.

The reconciliation summary indicates every single addition action Homenet tells us.

Removing vehicles

If HomeNet sends a delete request, RecovR treats it as sold and moves it into a vehicle-only sale:

  • If the vehicle doesn’t have a RecovR device paired to it, it’s placed in a 7-days holding period before the sale is finalized.

  • If the vehicle does have a paired device, the same 7-days holding period applies, and the vehicle is put in a pending sale to resolve.

The reconciliation summary indicates every single deletion action HomeNet tells us. That number will continue to grow as we get more delete indications from the feed.
