How to pair a RecovR Key Tag to a Customer's Phone

When selling tags to consumers, they might see one of two options in the App UI.

1) Tag ID was entered by the dealer user at the time of sale

If the salesperson provides the Tag ID in the RecovR sale, then the customer will be have access to that specific Tag in the App. Upon logging in for the first time, the customer will see that specific Key Tag and be able to immediately pair it to their phone.

2) Tag ID was not provided at the time of sale

If the salesperson does not provide the Tag ID in the RecovR sale, then the customer will be see an "Unpaired Key" in their Assets page.

Upon clicking into an "Unpaired Key", the customer will be prompted to enter the Tag ID for the tag they are attempting to Pair.

Once the customer completes the flow and pairs the tag to their phone, it will update in their Assets page to the name of that specific Tag.
